தமிழ் சங்கம் வைக்காட்டோ நடத்தும் தமிழ் பள்ளி ஒவ்வொரு சனிக்கிழமை மாலை 4 – 6 pm நடைபெறுகிறது. பள்ளி விடுமுறை நேரங்களில் தமிழ் வகுப்பிற்கும் விடுமுறை அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.

2023 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான வகுப்புகள் திரு / திருமதி சிவரூபன் அவர்களால் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இவருடன் இணைந்து தமிழ் பள்ளி பெற்றோர்களும் தன்னார்வலர்களாக, குறிப்பாக திருமதி ராதீவ் நிரோஜினி, தர்ஷினி ரவிதரன் அவர்களும் வகுப்புகளை சிறப்பாக நடத்தி வருகின்றனர். தொடர்புகளுக்கு திரு சிவரூபன் 027 393 9160 ஐ அணுகவும்.

தமிழை பெரும்பாலும் விளையாட்டின் மூலம் கற்றுக் கொடுப்பதால் குழந்தைகள் மொழியை விரும்பி கற்கின்றனர். எங்கள் தமிழ் பள்ளி தமிழைக் கற்றுக்கொடுப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல், குழந்தைகள் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் சந்தித்து நட்புப் பாராட்ட ஒரு அருமையான வாய்ப்பையும் ஏற்படுத்திக் கொடுக்கிறது.

Tamil School Waikato is conducted by us to teach the Tamil language to the children of our community or anyone who has an interest in learning the language. Classes are run during the school term only.

The classes for 2023 are run by volunteer teachers, this year its led by Mrs Sharmile Sivarooban with Nirojini Raathiv and Tharsini Ravitharan. Along with the teachers, our parents are volunteering their precious time to run the classes to a high standard.

Classes are aimed to deliver in a fun way with lots of games to encourage children’s learning. Our Tamil School not only teaches the language but also provides a great opportunity for our children to develop new relationships with their peers.
